Colleagues, I’m supporting a Yes vote as the lesser of two evils. What I understand Bruce Kyse to say is that the PD is not seeking to cut our wages because we earn too much but because the newspaper has lost enormous revenue from the drop in classified and retail advertising, and that every PD employee is taking a cut of at least 3 percent. I believe that to reject a 3 percent cut is to invite an involuntary layoff.
